Strategy
How to measure success: possible metrics
- of paper submissions
- of people turning up to events
- of people viewing (website views)
- conversations on the forums and lists
- of users (aka downloads)
- activity by org (email domain)
PR Metrics
- media reports (in response to press release)
- stories related to xen (unsolicited)
- xen blog contributions (#, orgs)
- xen industry talks (#, events, orgs)
- aggregate user list + forum conversations
Metrics to add to middle bucket per Larry:
- of cited academic papers
- ecosystem around Xen
