The workaround is to use nopat on the Linux command line. Fixed in kernel 3.3/3.4.

(fixed) VGA text support missing
http://darnok.org/xen/vga.patch has the patch. Git commit c2419b4a4727f67af2fc2cd68b0d878b75e781bb ("xen: allow enable use of VGA console on dom0") is backported and included in Linux 3.0.2 stable update, and also in Linux 3.1.0.
(fixed) dom0_mem=max:XG is ignored
Fixed in 3.1 with d312ae878b6aed3912e1acaaf5d0b2a9d08a4f11 and e3b73c4a25e9a5705b4ef28b91676caf01f9bc9f which are back-ported to 3.0.5. Their titles are:
- xen: use maximum reservation to limit amount of usable RAM
- xen/e820: if there is no dom0_mem=, don't tweak extra_pages.
and you also need to update the hypervisor to include:
- x86: use 'dom0_mem' to limit the number of pages for dom0 (c/s 23790)
Explanation: Page tables are allocated for xen balloon space by dom0 even if the user has admonished the hypervisor that dom0 should only use up to a certain amount: dom0_mem=max:4G. If the physical machine has more than 4GB (say 32GB), dom0 will allocate pagetables for up to 32GB. Workaround is to use 'mem=4G' in Linux command line but we should do something smart.
32-bit graphic cards (AGP, or server ones: ATI ES1000) can't do Xorg
32-bit graphic cards (ATI ES1000) commonly found on servers can't do graphics properly. This ties in the TTM support Konrad is doing. There is a workaround right now to revert two git commits to make this work.

(fixed) per_cpu IRQ handler enables the interrupts (32-bit only)
by d198d499148a0c64a41b3aba9e7dd43772832b91 I see this on AHCI controller (dom0), and in DomU with the xen_netfront. When the IRQ handler is invoked the IRQs are disabled - but after the handler has finished the IRQs are re-enabled.
