From Xen

Renaming Pages

Lars, no problem. Haven't imported any pages, but will keep that in mind if/when I do. There's nothing special to importing, just copy+paste from the text file, and update the Google Docs sheet, right? --Kyle, 04:42 10 Nov 2011 (UTC)

Kyle, in essence yes. I added Wiki_Community/Migration_Instructions_from_Old_to_New_Xen_Wiki to help people migrate. --Lars.kurth 10:32, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Editing the Xen Project wiki

If Xen is now a Linux Foundation Collaborative Project and the domain name of the wiki is wiki.xenproject.org, why do your edits continue to show up under the wiki.xen.org domain name?

  • wiki.xen.org is aliased to wiki.xenproject.org (or vice versa). I sometimes end up logging in via wiki.xen.org (autocomplete). I wasn't aware that this showed anywhere
    • All the messages sent out to watchers of wiki pages come from "WikiAdmin - webmaster@xen.org", but the links in those messages may link to either http://wiki.xenproject.org or http://wiki.xen.org. I assume the link domain is determined by the domain of the editing individual at the time of the edit. If you want the xen.org domain to disappear from use, it appears some more changes need to be made.
